Blog Post 2 - Creativity

For this creativity exercise, I used an idea called a “bucket list,” where you write things you have never done before or never really thought about doing. This activity is commonly used in classrooms to help students think outside their normal routines and explore new ideas. According to this example, the goal is to come up with different experiences that push you out of your comfort zone and make you think creatively.

For my exercise, I created my own list of new things I would like to try, some of my ideas included learning basic coding, creating my first website, designing something original in Adobe Illustrator, or starting a small business project. At first, it was hard to think of many ideas, but after a few minutes, I started to think more freely and come up with more creative and different options. This showed me that sometimes creativity takes time and practice.

From this exercise, I am starting to understand that creativity is not just about art, but also about thinking differently and being open to new ideas. In web programming, this is important because building a website is not only about coding, but also about how you organize ideas and create something unique. This activity helped me see that even simple exercises can help improve creative thinking and prepare me for future design projects.
