Blog Post 4 – Design

In this project, I have been learning how to use Adobe InDesign to create a full cookbook layout. One of the most important things I learned is how to organize content in a clean and consistent way. Instead of just placing images and text, I had to think about structure, spacing, and how the reader moves through each page.

I also learned how important consistency is in design. Using the same layout for each recipe, along with similar typography and spacing, helps the book feel more professional and easy to follow. Small details like margins, alignment, and hierarchy make a big difference in the final result.

This project helped me understand that design is not only about making things look good, but also about making them clear, organized, and functional.
